Description
One of the beautiful parts of the ZERO is the ability to set up dies and not remove them, simply rotate or replace your turret to get to another die. With the addition of extra turrets there is virtually no limit to the number of calibers you can set up to run on the ZERO, and changing a turret takes about 20 seconds. Turret replacement is also repeatable to under .001″. All turrets will come with a press-fit pull-stud, and die stations laser marked with a number on the outer diameter of the head.
7/8″ turrets come with 9 die stations, all 7/8″ thread. This is your standard die size.
1-1/4″ turrets come with 8 stations, all 1-1/4″ thread.
Hybrid turrets come with 8 stations, half 7/8″ and half 1-1/4″ thread.

The turret arrived with several small blemishes in center area and black paint discoloration. Have purchased Blemish items in past from Area 419 that I really couldn’t tell were blemish items and looked much better cosmetically than this regular priced turret. Unable to share photo.

Just like I’ve come to expect from AREA419, the quality and attention to detail is second to none.
In my case I am using the 1-1/4 turret head along with Hornady Lock N Load bushings to make efficient use of all the dies that I currently possess with the Lock and Load feature. I will be using those on non precision ammo that I reload, and I will use the 7/8 turret that came with my press to do all of my high-precision loading.
I also purchased the zero press, but bought it from Brownells as it was in the stock at the time. It is a wonderful work of art, exquisite in every detail and I feel it’s worth every penny.
In all honesty if there is anything that I would change would be to use a stainless steel thread insert in the press body for the wedge clamp bolt.
Probably unnecessary, but I feel it would hold up better to long term repeated use as
compared to the tapped aluminum threads.
Again, I can’t emphasize enough the absolute lack of play in this press… it is amazing what they have done with the use of bearings (Japanese 👍, not Chinese ) and their clearances. Bravo!
