– If you have multiple Universal Adapters on other rifles, this is a great way to protect the threads and taper surface from damage

Needed to scrub the threads a bit to get them to fit the adapter smoothly. I think the anodizing process added some material/dimension, resulting in a slight fitment issue, but nothing a few reps of installation didn’t take care of.

I am not sure I’ll take the ‘winder off, even for hunting, but I may and this does the trick.
