The S.M.A.L. is for those mounting situations where you need a compact mounting footprint on the bottom of a rangefinder, binos, spotter, SBR, etc.

With MLOK mounting points (and hardware) and a center 1/4-20 mounting point (again, hardware included) this will be a versatile mounting point for those items that don’t need a longer rail.

This item is milled, in America, from 6061-T6 aluminum and black hardcoat anodized.

    For some reason Area 419 uses a screw with a 3/16 drive, as opposed to the 1/8 drive of standard mlok screws. So they’re way easier to strip. I’m sitting here looking at this stripped screw that I’ll now have to drill the head off to remove from my handguard. I’m completely baffled as to why they chose these inferior screws.
