– Made from 6061-T6 aluminum to protect all of the critical features on the Universal Adapter
– If you have multiple Universal Adapters on other rifles, this is a great way to protect the threads and taper surface from damage

It’s a very easy way to protect the fine threads on your Muzzle brake attachment point, when the brake is not attached. My hard rifle case is not long enough for my bolt gun with the brake attached, so I use this thread protector while the brake is off.

I have three guns, two brakes, and one can – I rotate the can between the three hosts. My initial thought was that someone is always going to have the can on – which is true as long as you’re at the range. When you’re transporting though the can is not attached to anything, and the threads on the universal adapter are pretty fine. So this is is needed for that one gun that doesn’t have a brake to protect those fine threads during transport.
