Description
Area 419 Custom Die Storage block. Holds 10 dies. Dies slip into place and are held simply by a close fit to the die threads. Will hold sizing dies and Redding Competition seating dies as well. Your decapping pin will need to be sticking out less than 0.4″. Features rubber pads on the bottom to keep from sliding around. Also holds 10 bushings, 7 shell holders, and has a tray to store any miscellaneous items like allen wrenches, decapping pins, sizing buttons, etc.
We also make these for the Hornady Lock’n’Load system die bushings, just choose that option from the drop down menu.
Block is machined in house from 6061-T6 Aluminum. Dimensions are 7.25″ x 6″ x 1″ thick.

I just received my second tray as I have a few rifles I regularly reload for and while a single tray has ample room for 2-4 sets of dies, I wanted another one. Everything is precision-made and dies/shellholders/bushings ‘click’ into place snuggly and stay in place surprisingly well. I don’t know if I’ll need more than two of these, but I might and will definitely buy another one if I do. Good product!

Recently moved from a turret press to the Forster Co-Ax. Love the look and convenience of the dies and neck bushings. Also, it’s nice that it holds Allen keys and the tray in front holds additional smaller tools. Since it has a place for neck bushings it would be nice if it also had a place to put an expander mandrel for inside neck sizing. Wish it came in black.

This storage block is a hefty chunk of metal. The machining work is beautiful. My only complaint is the six small holes (three on each side) need to be a step or two larger to fit the brush stems for my case cleaning brushes.

The die storage is solid. I use the various Redding Type-S and use. The rear slot for the seating die, and the front for the sizing die. The storage block also has slots for the die bushings, in case you change them out often.

I have the lnl block and holds the dies great. there is enough room for the long decaping pin on my universal die.

Got my die storage block today, and this thing is a surprisingly huge upgrade to to the bench. First off, the piece is very well made, and solid/heavy (way heavier than I thought it’d be when I picked the box off my porch).
Secondly, it’s a huge upgrade in terms of reducing ‘clutter’ on the bench. I load for a lot of calibers, but I load 5 more often than any of the others. This die block basically allows me instant access to load for those calibers without the need of throwing die boxes on the bench etc. Same goes for bushings and shell holders.
As far as die storage, it works perfectly with Redding and Forster micrometer seaters; looks like it could handle dies with even bigger micrometers.
Only thing I wish it had were places for AMP pilots, but understand that’s a fairly obscure accessory.
