With the rise in popularity of rimfire among the PRS community, we set out to offer a loaded, yet affordable option in the tactical 22 space. When CZ-USA released the new 457 line of rifles, we knew they would be nice. The first time we saw and felt the MTR, the quality and value shocked us. When we got behind the rifle though, we knew the rifle was going to fit our 22 trainer project.

This package is ready to shoot, and in our experience it’s ready to shoot WELL. In testing, we have been able to consistently produce sub-moa groups, often finding groups in the 1/2 MOA range with mid-grade ammo like Federal Gold Medal Match.

Put just over 500 rounds through it and it is a tac driver. The weight is well balanced and the Timney Trigger is light, crisp and super smooth with no take up. An exceptional package which I enhanced with a Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40mm scope, Leupold Rifleman Rings, MDT GRND-POD Bipod, and replacement of the plastic factory mag well with a CZ aluminum one. Rock solid!

The rifle is well made (solid) and shoots sub moa. A really nice package with upgrades most would consider doing individually, but now have the option of purchasing in a single package. How can anyone go wrong with a combination of CZ, MDT, Area 419, and Timney Triggers!!!

Good package with lots of perks. Shoots a little better than a standard CZ 457. Only complaint is the cut out in the stock. This prohibits the gun from sliding easily on a rear bag during competition shoots. No one seems to offer a rear bag rider for this gun. Still like the gun. Will fashion my own rear bag rider.

If you are considering this rifle, I want to remove your concerns. The chassis is very comfortable and versatile. The ARCA rail is a game changer, adding attachments is very easy and secure. I recommend purchasing a Timney trigger to go along, to make an awesome package. Glad I bought it; no regrets.

Didn’t shoot it yet, looks very well put together, I do own4 other cz 457, 2 with MTR barrels and chambres, my first encounter with the MDT stock. So far I’m impress, I’m sure it will shoot outstanding( better than me)
