Custom machined aluminum loading blocks
Area 419 Billet Anodized Loading block. The same awesome loading block you’ve come to love from us, just anodized to hold up to all your abuse better.
50 places of 308, Magnum, or Lapua bolt faced rounds. Features rubber pads on the bottom to keep from sliding around.
Block is machined in house from 6061-T6 Aluminum. Dimensions are 9.5″ x 4″ x 5/8″. Holes are 0.500″ deep and are a tight fit around the case to prevent tipping over. Hole bottoms have a small “divot” in the very center to catch powder kernels and prevent any possible accidents with primers.

This shell holder fits 5.56/.223 shells perfectly. The holes in the bottom of the tray allow me to use it as a drying rack for my shells once they are removed from my sonic cleaner. The pan at the front also perfectly holds a full box of 100 bullets for reloading 5.56/.223. Not to mention it looks awesome on my bench.

This was my second reloading block, I was so impressed with the first one that I wanted another one. It is heavy enough so that if you bump it between powder fill and bullet Seating, the powder doesn’t come flying out of the cases. I also use it as an overnight case drying block. Because the holes are designed so that air can circulate and speed up the drying time. This also makes cleaning the block after spray lubricants build up much easier.

I’ve always used the plastic loading trays and the billet loading block is a huge upgrade. Sure cost is 5x more than a plastic one, but you get what you pay for. The biggest benefit in my opinion is when charging cases the block does not move. This reduces powder spilling and potentially having to recharge a ton of cases. Definitely worth it if you reload a lot.
