Big Dog Steel Magazine Holsters are BACK and in a big way. These new AICS/AW Magazine Holster from BDS fit Short Action AI and AW (along with ARC, MDT, etc) magazines extremely well. Adjust the retention with a simple thumbscrew. These are bullets forward/backwards/right handed/left handed compatible, and completely ambidextrous. Holsters will come with a Large Blade-Tech Tek-Lok belt hanger, (can also be used for molle webbing). These are made from Carbon Fiber Reinforced nylon material, extremely strong and heat resistant.. Tension is adjustable for the perfect draw. Each Magazine holster comes with a Large Tek-Lok clamp which will accommodate up to 2-1/4″ belts, and can be clipped to molle packs as well.

Perfect for my 5.11 belt and holds the AICS MAGS perfectly. Only downfall is that they are hard to reverse because there is locktite on the nuts and you may strip a screw trying to remove them to change the handing.

It is reversible – My bad. This mag holder is reversible from bullets forward to back for either left or right side use. I took a little more time to understand how to flip this around and it is no big deal. Even the tension adjustment is reversible. I am sorry I didn’t pay more attention. This is far better than the taco mag holders I was using.

This is a great mag holster except for one thing. the direction of the mag can not be reversed. I have adapted my left hand mag pull, but would have preferred the ability to switch orientation from bullets forward to bullets rear. I am using American Rifle Company mags with this holster and the fit is perfect. The tension adjustment is well designed and works great.
